Winter is a time for hibernation, retreating inside to somewhere warm, putting activities on hold. But its also a time for getting things done, busying ourselves with indoor pursuits. Currently halfway through my final year at university, I’m using these Christmas holidays to strike a balance between work and relaxation. As well as reading up on the German Empire, feminist literature and working on translations, I’ve also spent some time on creative projects. It’s refreshing to do something different where your mind has to think creatively and rewarding to have something at the end. Over the next few posts I’ll share some of things I’ve been making, and hopefully will be able to keep up some posts in the new year.
In the meantime you can read my articles on the Mancunion website, and posts at Groovier Times Are Ahead.
